Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 22 June 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of drgeorgeai.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products and services from George Iacono trading as DRGEORGEAI (ABN 35 958 983 407) ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to the parts of these Terms that apply to Site use. When you buy our book, or book or attend our training, workshops or speaking services, you will be asked to confirm that you accept these Terms at the point of purchase or booking, and your purchase or booking proceeds on that basis. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our products and services.

1. About us and what we offer

We provide educational content about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for continuing professional development (CPD), documentation and professional learning. This includes:

  • our book, "AI for CPD" (the "Book"), sold as a digital product
  • training, workshops and speaking engagements (the "Services").

All content, the Book and the Services are provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and professional purposes. You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that breaches any law or regulation
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems
  • interfere with the security or proper operation of the Site
  • copy, reproduce, scrape or redistribute Site content except as permitted by these Terms or by law.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in the Book, including text, graphics, templates and materials, is owned by George Iacono or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms or by law (including fair dealing and other statutory exceptions), nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

4. Purchase of the Book

  • The Book is a digital product, sold and delivered through our storefront (Payhip) and paid for through PayPal. Prices are in Australian dollars. We are not currently registered for GST and no GST is charged. This may change if our registration status changes.
  • On purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Book for your own professional and educational use.
  • You must not share, resell, redistribute, sublicense or publicly post the Book or substantial extracts from it, except as permitted by law. You may make reasonable personal copies for your own use.
  • Delivery is electronic. Your access to the Book is provided through the storefront after payment is confirmed.

Refunds for the Book are dealt with in our Refund Policy.

5. Training, workshops and speaking services

  • The Services are general educational and informational only. They are not clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and are not tailored to any individual patient or case. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate written engagement, the Services do not include patient-specific clinical advice or any assurance about implementing AI in your practice or organisation.
  • Before you pay for or book a Service, we will make clear the price, what is included, the cancellation and refund terms, any substitution rights, any expenses, and whether the session will be recorded or photographed. Those booking terms, together with any separate written engagement agreement, apply to that Service and prevail over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency for that engagement.
  • Engaging us for a Service does not create any clinical, employment, partnership or agency relationship, and does not make us responsible for any decision you or your organisation make.

6. Educational use only and no professional advice

The Site, the Book and the Services:

  • are provided solely for general education and information
  • do not constitute medical, clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice
  • must not be used to diagnose, treat or manage any individual patient.

You remain responsible for your own clinical, professional, operational, governance and compliance decisions. Please read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Content currency and reasonable care

We take reasonable care in preparing our content. AI products, laws and professional guidance change rapidly, so content is current only as at its stated review or publication date, and should be checked against current authoritative sources before you rely on it.

8. No guarantees or endorsements

We do not guarantee any clinical, professional, CPD, financial or other outcome. We do not guarantee that any AI tool or approach discussed is appropriate, safe or compliant for your setting, or that your use of it will meet your professional, college, employer or regulatory obligations. Where we simply name or describe a third-party AI tool, this is for education only and is not an endorsement. Where we positively recommend a tool or have any commercial interest in it, we will say so (see section 11).

9. Assumption of risk

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and section 10, any reliance you place on the Site, the Book or the Services in your own practice is a matter for your own professional judgement, taking account of your own context, governance and obligations.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. This includes any liability we may have for death or personal injury, for fraud, or for misleading or deceptive conduct, none of which we seek to exclude or limit.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and
  • where a consumer guarantee applies to goods or services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, and the law permits us to limit our liability for failing to comply with that guarantee, and it is fair and reasonable for us to do so, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the relevant product or service, or paying the cost of resupply.

We do not apply that limitation to major failures, to personal injury, or to fraud, wilful misconduct or misleading conduct.

11. Third-party links, tools and conflicts

The Site and our content may link to or reference third-party websites, tools and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. We may distinguish between simply mentioning a tool and recommending it. Where we have any commercial interest in a tool or provider we discuss (for example a sponsorship, affiliate arrangement, free or discounted access, or a speaking fee), we will disclose it. Your use of any third-party tool is governed by that third party's terms.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes our information-handling practices and is not intended to create contractual rights beyond those that apply under applicable law.

13. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site or our products from time to time, and we may update these Terms. The current version will always be available on the Site, with the "Last updated" date shown above. Changes apply on a prospective basis. We will not use a change to these Terms to reduce rights you have already accrued in a Book licence you have bought or a Service you have already booked. Where a change materially affects you, we will take reasonable steps to give you notice where practicable.

14. Termination

We may suspend or withdraw your access to the Site, or to a product or service, for specified reasons such as security, suspected fraud, unlawful use, or a material breach of these Terms. If we permanently withdraw your access to a Book you have paid for, through no fault of yours, we will provide an appropriate remedy such as restoring access or a refund. Copies of the Book you have already downloaded for your own use remain yours to use under your licence. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers and liability) continue to apply.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia. This clause does not deprive you of any mandatory rights, remedies or venue protections available to you under applicable consumer law.

16. Representations

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Disclaimer and any separate engagement terms, are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Site, the Book and the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or right arising from a representation we have actually made (including on the Site or in our marketing or sales communications) where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

17. Order of precedence

If there is any inconsistency between these documents, they apply in the following order of priority: (1) a separate written engagement agreement for a specific Service; (2) the booking terms for a specific Service; (3) the Refund Policy; (4) the Disclaimer; (5) these Terms; (6) the Privacy Policy.

18. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
